JEFFERY LUTE Obituary

JEFFERY MARTIN LUTE, 28, of Fort Wayne, was tragically taken from this earth on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, and heaven gained an angel. He was the kindest, whole-hearted, extraordinary individual, community advocate, and deeply adored son, brother, uncle and friend. He was an Video Banking Supervisor at STAR Bank and Sales Associate at Cap n' Cork. Jeff's impact on the community is reflected in the hundreds of messages and pictures on Facebook. People's whose lives he touched were changed by his contagious faith in everyone, unfathomable enthusiasm, transcendent empathy and compassion, and his unmatched energy and love for everyone. Some of his favorite pastimes were riding his motorcycle, regularly attending Cubs games, and his weekly Dart-ball league. Jeff was also an active member and on the Board of Directors for Southwest Lutheran Church. Jeff adored spending time with his "Favorite Person", his niece. He is survived by parents, Larry and Marta; sister, Valerie (Jeff) Getts; niece, Kelsie; grandmother, Lois; many aunts, uncles and cousins and tons of his beloved friends. "His memory is a blessing to us all". Service 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Southwest Lutheran Church, 5120 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46814), with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Visitation also 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 at the church. The family is requesting all guests wear Blue to the service, Jeff's favorite color. Arrangements by Midwest Funeral Home and Cremation Society.

J Lute i just ran across this by coincidience. I will never forget the many laughs and good times we shared. Its been a while since i seen you but never would i have dreamed or thought this. Absent from the body means present with the lord.

I have very sweet memories with Jeff from when we were younger. He was so handsome and when I've thought of him over the years, his beautiful smile and eyes come to mind first. I always wished I would have spent more time with him. From what I've read he grew up to be a pretty great guy. I pray that his family finds peace and comfort through the Lord and know that he has a great view from heaven watching over all of them. God Bless you Jeff, I will continue to miss you.

There are no words that I can express concerning the loss of a child. I love you Larry and Marta. Each day I pray to God to send a Guardian Angel to watch over my daughter Chelsea as that little baby develops in her belly. Now, I can specifically ask for Jeff. May the Peace of God, our Father, Jesus, our Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit, our Helper fill your lives and sustain you throughout this period of loss, sorrow, and grief.
