Dear Dr. Baeverstad,

I was deeply saddened by your loss. I did not know your son, but if he was anything like you he was a wonderful person. You were there in the emergency room when my father died, and your compassion and concern was very touching. I pray that the Lord and your family and friends will provide you with the comfort and compassion that you and your family are in need of right now. May you find peace in knowing that he is now in the arms of his Creator. You and your family will be my thoughts and prayers.

For all that were affected by it I offer my condolences. Just wanted to say that I'm very sorry and that Paul, his friends and family are in my prayers.

Dear Paul's family, You are in our prayers that the Lord hold you tightly in His embrace for such a time as this. I am a grateful mother whose daughter, Amber, knew Paul since freshman year and ran into him last week. There was a short precious moment of his expressed affection that touched her heart. And we would echo Christ's love back to you now in this time of sorrow.
