Two stories with Dean come to mind and both of them happened in the choir room at PHHS. First, Dean had REALLY large feet! My feet were so small I put my feet (shoes and all) right into Dean's shoes and walked around in them for a while. I looked and felt like I had clown shoes on! We really got a kick and a lot of laughs out of that! Next was the day Dean came to me and kindly offered me his hamster ball for my gerbil to play in. I told him my gerbil had died the day before. He thought I was teasing at first, but when he realized it was true, he felt horrible and kept apologizing. I kept telling him it was okay and he couldn't have known. But I think that just showed what a sweet and tender heart he had. So many fond memories...

I am so sorry to hear about this. We need Jehovah's new world so much. I grew up around Dean, Clayton and Liz. My heart thoughts and prayers go out to Clayton and Liz and the rest of his friends and family. May Jehovah comfort you during this difficult time. He was such a mild person and look forward to seeing him again just around the corner.

Years ago, Dino was my next door neighbor. I have always thought fondly of our entire street as we each ended up knowing one another pretty well. We spent time at one another's homes and looked out and took care of each other. There were so many days that I came home from work, and Dino had left some kind of note, picture, or something he had come across that had reminded him of me. He was so friendly, kind, and generous. I just can't believe that he is gone. The world definitely needs more people like Dino. It is heartbreakingly tragic that the world has lost such an amazingly, beautiful soul.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Dean's passing. He always left you laughing and with a smile on his face. Although I haven't seen him for awhile, I will surely miss him. Prayers are going out to his family.

I went to Paul Harding with Dean. He was always laughing and had such a warm friendly smile. I have not seen him since graduation but it sounds like he followed his creative passion and touched so many peoples lives. I am so sorry to his friends and family as this is just so tragic. Prayers!

I met Dean a few years ago when he would come to the bank to cash his check. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. I will never forget one year for Christmas he made me a VERY unique wreath. He will be surely missed. Rest easy Dean

I am very sad to hear of Dean's passing. I remember him being such a nice guy in high school. I most remember his smile and his laughter and he was always a friend to everyone. He will be greatly missed. My prayers to all of the family.

Dino was a close friend of mine. He had so many gifts to share with others- his artistic mind, his quick wit, his ability to see the end product. Then, equally important, his sensitivity, his concern for others, his generosity. Dino had a personality that was larger than life itself!
I'm so fortunate that he was my friend. I'll always remember all the beauty he brought to my life. I will love him and miss him forever.

I am shocked and saddened by the news. I wish I could go to the funeral, but I am only finding this out 2 hrs before hand and I am at work. Dino- friend from childhood. My first date, and my first prom. ... He was a sweet sweet person with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly Missed!

Our relationship with Dean goes back to early yeaars in the Fort Wayne theater community...common friends, and great times when he was a waiter at the Thirsty Camel. We know he will be missed. We will always remember his warm laugh and great sense of humor. Rest in peace, Dean.

I'm so saddened to hear of Dino's passing. He was not only just a co-worker but a neighbor and friend. I have so many memories with him, professionally but also personally. He was a magnificent artist in any medium he chose. He decorated my Christmas tree annually and worked in my garden. We had so much fun together, he wrote beautiful poetry and gave me many poems. He could make anyone laugh with his boundless humor...just praying his family will make it without him. Love, Dee
