FARMINGTON - Melissa Kenney, 40 of Farmington, N.H. died suddenly Sunday, July 26, 2015, of unknown causes. The driving force of her life was her children. She is survived by daughters, Bryana age 17 and Ava age 10. Her Father, Richard Kenney, Step- Mother Jo Kenney, paternal grandmother, Carol Kenney of Florida, three half-sisters, two step-siblings. Many aunts, uncles and cousins along with a multitude of people who loved and supported her. SERVICES: Graveside Services will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, Farmington, N.H. Keenan, Sister Barbara  
WINDHAM - Sister Barbara Keenan (formerly Sister Mary of Fatima), 83, a Sister of Mercy for 64 years, died Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire, after a brief illness. A native of Nashua, she was the daughter of John J. and Mary Ellen (Benson) Keenan. Sister Barbara received her B.S. degree in education from Mount St. Mary College, Hooksett, New Hampshire. For many years she was an elementary school teacher at Catholic schools in New Hampshire. She taught at St. Mary School in Dover, St. Mary in Claremont, St. Patrick in Berlin, and Mount St. Mary Day School in Manchester. Sister Barbara also served as a hospital visitor in the Pastoral Care Department at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, and was on the housekeeping staff at Briston Manor in Bedford. For many years her ministry was community service at Warde Health Center and Searles Castle in Windham. Sister Barbara is survived by her nieces, Christine Lamando of Nashua, New Hampshire; Maureen Whittemore of Alexandria, New Hampshire, Barbara Descoteaux of Texas; and Ann Marie Fayre of Florida; her nephews, Charles P. Keenan of Watertown, Massachusetts, and Daniel Keenan; and her Mercy community. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Rowell; two brothers: John J. and Paul C. Keenan; and a nephew, Brian M. Keenan. Friends may call at the Warde Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 21 Searles Road, Windham, New Hampshire, on Friday, July 31, from 10 to 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in the Windham chapel. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, N.H. Memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy - Northeast Community, 15 Highland View Road, Cumberland, R.I. 02864-1124, and online at .
