Bennett, Norman A.  
SOMERSWORTH - Norman A. Bennett, 67, of Old Rochester Road, died Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Mass General Hospital, Boston. Born July 15, 1947, in Exeter, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Sophie (Malek) Bennett, Jr. He was raised in Newmarket where he attended school and was a 1965 graduate of Dover High School. Norman served in the US Army from 1966-1972. He had worked at Moore Business Forms, Kidder Press, Harris Graphic's and since 1986 at Tyco. Norman enjoyed NASCAR and at one time owned his own race car, racing at Star Speedway. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marie (Boudreau) Bennett; a son Shawn Roussin and his wife Karen Bresciano; 2 grandchildren, Carter and Cecelia Roussin; a sister Jean Raymond and her husband Robert; mother-in-law Ferne Boudreau: nieces and nephews, Deborah L. Anderson, Gary Boudreau, Karen Laurendeau, Wilfred Boudreau, Tammy Labonte, and DJ Boudreau; many cousins, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and friends. Norman's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Mass General Hospital for the excellent care shown to Norman. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th from 10 – 11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. Memorial Service at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter Street, Newmarket. Norm's request would be casual attire for those attending. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mass General Hospital Cancer Center, 100 Cambridge St, Suite 1300, Boston, Mass. 02114. Bromage, Inez M.  
LEE - Inez M. Bromage, 92, of Packers Falls Road, died Monday, May 25, 2015, at Victorian Heights, Portsmouth. Born July 26, 1922, in Winthrop, Mass., she was the daughter of F. Algot and Mildred (Jennison) Carlson. She was a graduate of Laconia High School and lived most of her life in Lee. Inez worked in the design division at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, from which she retired. She was a very active and devoted member of the Lee Church Congregational. She had served as a deaconess and was recently named Deaconess Emeritus. She volunteered in many activities and was always willing to supply a ride for those looking for transportation. Inez served as president of the Silver Squares of Durham for many years. She is survived by a daughter, Dawn Carswell of Portsmouth; 2 granddaughters, Rebecca Carswell of Sebastian, Fla., and Jennifer Carswell of Dallas, Texas; 2 brothers, Albert Carlson of Orman Beach, Fla., and C. William Carlson of Albany, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews, and good friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 12th at 11 a.m. at the Lee Church Congregational, 17 Mast Road, Lee. Bridges, Helen Veronica  
HAMPTON – Helen Veronica (Hanley) Bridges, age 87, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Helen was born in Saugus, Massachusetts on April 22, 1928, to Mary (Ross) and Arthur Hanley. Helen was a loving wife, mother of three, grandmother of six kids and great-grandmother to six children. She really enjoyed holding family gatherings and the many parties for friends at her home in Maple Haven. She always looked for the best in everyone. She wanted to help and give to those people in need. Just like her mother, she carried on this remarkable trait right up to her last days with us. One of ten siblings, she dearly loved each and every one of them. But she had a special love and friendship with her sisters Evelyn and Mabel. They had many great times together with many memorable stories to pass on to everyone. Helen will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her. Helen is survived by her son Cliff Bridges and his wife Leslye; daughters, Darlene Meade and her husband Paul; and Eva Marie Blanton and her husband Dale. She was the proud Grandmother to Clint Taylor, Mandy (Taylor) Sutton, Nathan Bridges, Shane Pouliot, Cole Pouliot, Noah Bly, and the great-grandmother of six children. She leaves behind her loving sister Evelyn George of Dover, N.H. and brother Robert Hanley of Tampa, Fla. Helen was predeceased by her husband Hurley "Bud" Bridges; parents Mary (Ross) and Arthur Hanley, sister Mabel (Hanley) Caruso, and brothers William, Arthur, Ray, Everett, Russell and George Hanley. SERVICES: Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad Street, Portsmouth, N.H. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 28 at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish at Immaculate Conception Church, 98 Summer Street, Portsmouth, N.H.
