Bernier Funeral Home is located at 49 South Street Corner of Portland Street, off High Street (Route 9) in Somersworth. Coming from Dover, it is approximately 2 miles from Weeks Crossing.
From Boston/Burlington, MA and South – Travel Route 128/I-95 North to the Spaulding Turnpike in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and continue to the exit for Route 16, Exit 4 (Dover, White Mts. Exit). Continue through the Dover Toll Booth to Exit 9 (Route 9). Exit and bear right on ramp. Travel on Route 9 for 2 miles, passing Cumberland Farms on the right, and continue to South Street (located two homes after Cumberland Farms on the right). Turn right (east) onto South Street and continue to the funeral home, located on the left (north) side of the street.
From the North – Travel Route 16 to the Spaulding Turnpike. Proceed on the Spaulding Turnpike to the exit for Route 16, Exit 4 (Dover, White Mts. Exit). Continue through the Dover Toll Booth to Exit 9 (Route 9). Exit and bear right on ramp. Travel on Route 9 for 2 miles, passing Cumberland Farms on the right, and continue to South Street (located two homes after Cumberland Farms on the right). Turn right (east) onto South Street and continue to the funeral home, located on the left (north) side of the street.
From Maine and Points East – Travel on Route 9 from Berwick into Somersworth over the connecting bridge and railroad tracks. Continue on Route 9 (which becomes High Street in Somersworth) until you see Cumberland Farms on the left. Take an immediate sharp left onto South Street just before Cumberland Farms, and continue to the funeral home, located on the left (north) side of the street.
From Portland, ME – Travel south on the Maine Turnpike to the Wells-Sanford exit, Exit 2. Exit, turn right onto Route 109, and proceed approximately 1/2 mile to Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9 and proceed through Wells into North Berwick. At the full set of traffic lights, turn left to the blinking light and turn right on to Route 9 for Berwick, into Somersworth over the connecting bridge and railroad tracks. Continue on Route 9 (which becomes High Street in Somersworth) until you see Cumberland Farms on the left. Take an immediate sharp left onto South Street just before Cumberland Farms, and continue to the funeral home, located on the left (north) side of the street.
From Manchester and Points West – Travel Route 101 to the Epping exit (Exit 7). Bear left at the bottom of the ramp to Route 125 and continue to the Lee Traffic Circle. At the Lee Traffic Circle take the first road on right (Route 4) to the Dover Lee exit (first exit). At bottom of the ramp, go left onto Route 155 and continue to Dover. Go over the Spaulding Turnpike, and take turnpike ramp north towards Rochester/Somersworth; follow to Exit 9 (Route 9). Exit and travel on Route 9 for 2 miles, passing Cumberland Farms on the right, and continue to South Street (located two homes after Cumberland Farms on the right). Turn right (east) onto South Street and continue to the funeral home, located on the left (north) side of the street.
