SOMERSWORTH - Christopher Flayhan, 53, of Hanson Street, died Sat. Nov. 17, 2012 in Kittery, Maine, from injuries involving an accident.
Chris was born in Rochester on Feb. 15, 1959, the son of Charles and Jennie (Hill) Flayhan. He was educated in Somersworth schools graduating from Somersworth High School class of 1977.
He had been employed at Pease Air Force Base Maintenance Dept.
He is survived by his mother Jennie, his three daughters, Jossalyn, Ann-Marie and Stephanie and his son Lucas; his brothers Charlie and Jonathan and sisters Sabrina, Stephanie, Jennifer, Eva, Christina and Melanie. He will be missed by his ex-wife Diana, brother-in-laws Terry, Karl and Jamie, his sister-in-law Catherine and most of all his countless nieces and nephews, especially Tommy. In our thoughts are his grandchildren Chloe, Alana, and Layla who never got enough time with him. His endless friends, co-workers at the Pease Development Authority and his longtime riding buddies Dane, Teddy, and John will miss his crooked smile and stories about his family. His presence will be missed on the airfield and at the wood pile. His booming voice and take charge attitude will forever be remembered in the house on Hanson Street. He was predeceased by his father, Charlie Flayhan, and his grandmother, Eva "Vivi" Hill and will join them in eternal peace.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Roberge Funeral Home, 298 High St., Somersworth. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. George's Maronite Church, 15 Chapel St., Dover. Burial will follow in Forest Glade Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. George's Meronite Church.
