DOVER - David A. Rohde, 66, of Renaud Ave died at the Hyder Family Hospice House on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Born June 2, 1946 in Worcester, Mass., the son of Paul T. and Pierrina (Zampatti) Rohde, he later moved to Boston where he worked as a photographer and earned a degree from Suffolk University. He also served in the Marine National Guard. After meeting his wife JoAnn in 1969, with whom he attended Woodstock, he lived in Boston and the North Shore and moved to Dover, in 1976 where he raised his family. In the 1980s he served on the Dover School Board as a proponent of the first public kindergarten. He spent over 25 years serving as the Director of Printing and Mail Services at UNH. He will be deeply missed by his wife JoAnn R. (Moreau) Rohde of Dover; a son, Aaron M. Rohde of Stowe, Vt.; a daughter, Laurel A. Rohde and her husband Andrew C. Oates of London, England; his grandchildren Alexander David Oates and Maxwell JM Oates; and his mother Pierrina Rohde and brother Paul Rohde of Worcester, Mass. He is also survived by his record collection and turntable.

There are no calling hours. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Dover.
