Deane F. Warren

ROCHESTER - Deane F. Warren, 78, of 3 Florence Drive died Monday Dec. 16, 2013 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, in the presence of his family after a period of failing health.

He was born Feb. 23, 1935 in Groveton, the son of the late Leon and Gladys (Christy) Warren. Deane was a graduate of Groveton High School and N.H. Technical Institute. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1956. Mr. Warren has resided in this area since 1957 and worked for Prudential Insurance in sales for many years. Before that time he worked for Kidder Press in design and as a draftsman for Raytheon. He was a member of the American Legion Post #7 of Rochester and the VFW. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting.

Members of his family include his wife of 54 years Shirley (Woodward) Warren of Rochester; sons, Steven and Mark Warren both of Rochester; daughter Tracey Warren of Milton Mills; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild his sister-in-law Beverly Warren of TX. He was predeceased by one brother Keith Warren and his half sister, Phyllis McFarland.

There will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held Friday Dec. 20, 2013 in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester N.H. with Fr. Daniel Sinibaldi officiating. Burial will be in Caverly Cemetery, Strafford, N.H. in the spring.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary Church, 71 Lowell Street, Rochester N.H.
