Edgar Robert Lemieux
ROCHESTER - Edgar Robert Lemieux, 82, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a brief illness.
Edgar was born in Somersworth, on November 16, 1930, the son of Joseph and Rose (Bolduc) Lemieux and had been living in Rochester since 1953, moving from Dover. He was a U.S. Army
veteran serving in Korea. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Rochester, liked to watch baseball, enjoyed cooking and mowing his lawn on his tractor. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Lena Poulin and a brother, Robert Lemieux.
Surviving members of the family include: two brothers, Albert Lemieux and Conrad Lemieux and his wife Celine all of Sanford, Maine, five sisters, Helen Lemieux, Priscilla Glidden and her husband Fred, Annette Lemieux, Joanne Adams and her husband Earl and Patricia Massingham and her husband Dave all of Rochester. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, N.H. on Friday from noon to 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. following visitation in the chapel of the funeral home.
