
Evelyn M. Manock
DOVER - Evelyn M. Manock, 94, died Sunday December 30, 2012 at the Edgewood Center in Portsmouth.
Born in Dover August 20, 1918 the daughter of Martin and Lulie (Ross) Sullivan. She was a graduate of Dover schools and has lived here all of her lifetime. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and enjoyed crocheting, macramé and doing puzzles.
She was an accountant at the Bread and Butter Market in Somersworth for 15 years and had also worked at Sawyer Mills Outlet Store and Cormier's Rexall Drug Store.
Evelyn was a member of St. Mary Church and the Altar and rosary Society.
The widow of Wilbur C. Manock she is survived by a daughter Jane Blaisdell and husband Raymond of Ripley, Maine; a son, James Manock and wife Patricia of Lowell, Mass.; three grandchildren, Kevin Blaisdell and wife Jen, Brian Blaisdell and Steven Manock; three great grandchildren, Delainy Blaisdell, Aliyah Blaisdell and Thomas Blaisdell; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her sister, Rita Pelletier and her brothers, Joseph, Robert, Charles, John, Lawrence, Arthur, and Martin Sullivan.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday January 2, 2013 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave. with the funeral service immediately following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
