
Florian W. Roseberry
ROCHESTER - Florian W. Roseberry, 86, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at the Rochester Manor after a long period of failing health.
Flo was born in Canada on Feb. 18, 1926, the son of Gedeon and Marie Anne (Doyon) Roseberry and lived most of his life in Rochester. Before his retirement he worked for Therrien Furniture Store and for Dick Delaney Organ Sales and also worked for 20 years for Mayberry Shoe as a sole layer. Flo was a former lieutenant with the Rochester Fire Department. He was a member of the American Legion, the
VFW and the DAV. He was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline, who died in 2002 and by a son, Jay, in 1972.
Surviving members of the family include one son, Dennis Roseberry and his wife Pauline of Gonic, one daughter, Nancy Davis and her husband Clayton of Farmington, one brother, Real Roseberry and his wife Beatrice of Somersworth, three sisters, Rosalind Zubkus of Portsmouth, Ghislaine Bickford of Farmington, and Jeannette Smolik and her husband Marvin of Osage, Iowa. He also leaves four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main St., Rochester, N.H. on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Holy Rosary Church, 189 North Main St., Rochester, N.H.
