Hudson A. Levensailor

HAMPTON - Hudson A. Levensailor, 81, died Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Clipper Harbor of Portsmouth, after a long period of failing health.

Hudson was born in Hodgdon, Maine on December 21, 1930, the son of Archie and Mabel (Ackroyd) Levensailor and had moved to the seacoast from Rochester. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 and half years and then worked as a store manager for the State of Maine Liquor Commission for 13 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars as well as racing them in his earlier years and enjoyed traveling.

He was predeceased by his parents, two daughters, Linda Daigler in 2006 and Mary Ann Levensailor in 1956, as well as a brother George Levensailor, three sisters, Daisy Porter, Gloria Hall and Jean Levensailor.

Surviving members of the family include his wife, Rosemarie Levensailor of Hampton; two sons, Michael Levensailor of Harpswell, Maine and Mark Levensailor of Weare; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Hopkins of Bangor, Maine and Pamela Levensailor of Watertown, Mass.; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at St. Mary's Church, 71 Lowell Street, Rochester, N.H, followed by burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Rochester.
