NAPLES, Fla. - Marcia Ann (Talbert) Wilson, 66, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, in Naples, Fla. after a period of failing health.

She was born December 11, 1946, in Claremont, the daughter of Paul and Thyra Linnea (Petterson) Talbert. She graduated from Stephens High School and later attended the University of New Hampshire. Deciding nursing was her passion she transferred and graduated from the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing.

Upon graduation, Marcia began her career at Wentworth Douglass Hospital. She also worked at Massachusetts General Hospital before returning to Dover, N.H., to work as the school nurse at Garrison Elementary School. During "retirement" she worked as a part time nurse for Strafford Medical Associates.

In high school she achieved All State honors as a Soprano in music. She was also active in the Rainbow Girl organization becoming the Grand Worthy Advisor for the State of New Hampshire and later volunteered as Mother Advisor for the Dover, N.H. Chapter.

Marcia was an avid crafter. She enjoyed making cards, scrapbooking and knitting. Marcia also enjoyed playing golf with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, David of Dover; daughter Michelle Kurtz and husband, Jim, of Dover; son Brett and his wife Nicole also of Dover; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Thyra, Brooke, Taylor and Paige, and her sister, Cindy Dodds of Jeannette, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Seacoast Cancer Center at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover, N.H.

There will be a celebration of life in N.H. in the spring.
