Mark S. McPherson

KITTERY, Maine - Mark S. McPherson, 46, of Portsmouth, died on Dec. 22, 2012, in Kittery. Born on Jan. 4, 1966, in Fort Monroe, Va., he was a son of William and Dolly (Head) McPherson.

He was raised in Haverhill, Mark, attended local schools and graduated from Haverhill High School. Following school he served his country as a member of the United State Army as an electronics and computer technician.

Following his service to his country he put his skills with computers and electronics to work at Tyco Industries and at Hewlett-Packard for a number of years. For the last couple of years he was a manager with Walmart.

He met and married his loving wife Charlene Lee (Demetrakopoulos) and together they made a home in Portsmouth for a number of years.

Mark enjoyed his music and playing the guitar, fresh water fishing, tinkering with anything electronic or computer based, a night of movies and just being with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Charlene of Kittery; his three children, Phillip, Jessica, and Mark Jr.; sisters Lori Allen and Julie; and his brother Clayton Bergeron; his five grandchildren, and many nieces nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on March 16, 2013, at 11 a.m. in The Parish of the Ascension of the Lord-St. Raphael's Church at 6 Whipple Road in Kittery, Maine 03904 with Fr. John Skehan as celebrant. Floral donations are welcome. Care for the McPherson family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey Funeral Home.
