BANGOR, Maine - Pauline L. Caswell, 89, formerly of Dover, New Hampshire, died Wednesday December 19, 2012.

Pauline was born May 4, 1923 in Dover, the daughter of George and Julia (Haughey) Trudeau.

She graduated from Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse.

She was a loving mother to her five children. As the devoted wife of an Air Force officer, she had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world. But, it was her time at Clark Air Force Base, Philippines when she was working with wounded soldiers from Vietnam that gave her the greatest career satisfaction. Pauline always had a witty comment to brighten everyone's day.

Members of her family include her children, Rick Caswell of Los Angeles, California, Roger A. Caswell of Lilburn, Georgia, Robert A. Caswell of Dover, and Paula M. Caswell of Springfield, Missouri. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lt. Col. Roger W. Caswell and her son, Michael Caswell.
