Mark Fortin Obituary

SANFORD — Mark Christopher Fortin died at home in Sanford on July 25, 2011, after a long illness.

Mark was born on Nov. 7, 1968, in Falmouth, Mass., the son of Mary Elizabeth (Keay) and Dennis Napoleon Fortin.

He loved soccer, music and anything Irish.

In high school, Mark was goalkeeper for the varsity soccer team. In his twenties, he played in several rock bands in southern Maine, where he spent many happy hours performing with friends.

Funeral services will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home in Springvale.
