Albert M. Gigliotti

HAVERHILL - Albert M. Gigliotti, 87, a lifelong Haverhill resident, died Monday, December 9, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Haverhill, November 25, 1926, he was the son of the late, Michael and Mary (Loreno) Gigliotti. Growing up in St. James Parish, he attended St. James Grammar School. A Veteran of WWII, he served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in December of 1946. Serving in the Asia Pacific Campaign, he earned the Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge, Army of Occupation Medal, and WWII Victory Medal. Mr. Gigliotti's long career began at young age. For over forty years, he was employed at various shoe manufacturing facilities in Haverhill as an inventory manager. Albert was all about family, his life centered on his late wife, all of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family as he was so proud of all of them. The widower of Shirley F. (Ferguson) Gigliotti who died in 2010 he leaves his loving children, two sons, Michael and his wife, Deborah Emery-Gigliotti, of Rochester. Jack J. and his wife Lynn (German) Gigliotti, of Bradford, four daughters, Karen M. Agnew and her husband Thomas H., of Methuen, Kathleen P. Fraza and her husband, Norman, of Haverhill, Mary M. Gigliotti-Roche, of Haverhill, and Beverly Sheehan, of Haverhill. He also leaves seventeen grandchildren, Michael Gigliotti, Tricia Burke, Eric, Brian, and Amy Gigliotti, Christen Agnew, Tiffany Goodwin, Derek Fraza, Corey Smith, Heidi McClintock, Meaghan, Lindsay, and Katelyn Roche, John and Kaicee Sheehan, and Adam St. George, fourteen great grandchildren, a sister in law, Alberta "Tootsie" Gigliotti, of Plaistow, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Louis A. Gigliotti, a grandson, Jeffrey Fraza, brothers, Anthony, Louis, Francis, Joseph, and sisters, Stella Goudreault, and Rose Mazza.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. James Church, Winter St. Haverhill.
