Alberta Ramsey Obituary
Born Aug. 23, 1939, Alberta had lived in Rochester all her life, she was the daughter of the late Al and Maryann (Mattocks) Marcou.
She was the wife of the late Terry Ramsey for more than 40 years.
Members of her family include her daughter, Debra Ann (Ramsey) Kemp and boyfriend, Michael Baker of Wakefield; a granddaughter, Lauren Kemp of Rochester, a lifelong friend who she called sister, Betty Rouleagh of Rochester and a friend named Vinny, who called her mom; Al, Danny, Tony and Ben.
She was predeceased by her sons, Dale T. and Dennis P. Ramsey.
She loved her family very much. She loved all the things in nature, such as the ocean, sunsets, sunrises and rainbows. She liked to watch her birds, the cardinal being her favorite. She was a member of AARP.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roger Allen Baseball field, Spaulding High School Music Department or to Ethel's Tree of Life, Ethel's Tree of Life, Inc., c/o 115 Bartlett Road, Kittery Point, ME 03905.
Calling hours will be held Friday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly Funeral Home.
Burial will be the Rochester Cemetery following the funeral services.
Arrangements are under the care of R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., Rochester N.H.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Bertie. Anyone who knew Mom and the rest of your family were truely blessed. I was so honored to be friends with your father Terry and brother Dennis. Words could never express how nice it was to be part of the family. I Loved your mother and father like my own and Dennis and I will always be brothers.I cherish the times. Bertie had the love for her family and friends. I will never forget going to Foxwoods with her and her love for those birds in the yard "Cardinals". I am very sure that Dad, Mom and our brothers are together in Heaven and Dennis is playing his guitar for Dale and Mom is sitting with Dad watching us here. They are together again and so deserving to rest in peace with our Lord Jesus Christ. I loved all of them and miss the laughter and moments together. R.I.P. my beloved friends and family.
