Angele met the love of her life, Robert Edmond Duchesneau when she was a sophomore and he was a junior at Rochester High School's Dancing Club. Their wedding day was February 10, 1945 at l'Eglise de Sainte Rosaire on Bridge Street in Rochester.
Angele was so proud of her children and has wonderful memories of their camping adventures in the White Mountains and their time together at the camp on Milton Three Ponds. But, her most cherished memories come from watching her children perform for many years in the Graniteers Drum & Bugle Corps. Her proudest moment was watching her children march in the Inaugural Parade for President John F. Kennedy in 1960.
In later years, Angele enjoyed traveling with her husband to Bermuda, France and Canada.
Angele was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She was a member of the St. Jean Baptiste Club, St. Anne Sodality and Club Richeleau.
Surviving are her five children, Sylvia Pelletier and her husband, Philip; Dennis Duchesneau and his wife, Bernadette; David Duchesneau and his wife, Andrea; Marlene Brooks and her partner, Brian VanBenschoten; Donald Duchesneau and his wife, Kelly; 20 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren. She also wanted to thank her long-time friend Marguerite Yeaton for always being there and her special niece, Claire, and her husband, Gerry, for their love and support and delicious meals. Also, many thanks to the Beacon Hospice and the Homemakers for all their care in meeting Angele's needs and keeping her comfortable.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Robert and loving granddaughter, Lisa Ann Reid, great-grandchildren Grace Bamford, Jonathan & Matthew Pelletier.
