LEBANON, Maine - Charles Richard Naimie, 73, passed away in his sleep at his residence in Lebanon, Maine on July 17, 2013. Chuck was born on February 9, 1940. He spent his early childhood years in Milford, New Hampshire, along with his parents, Charles and Lillian, as well as his older twin sisters, Charlene and Patricia, and his younger brother, Mark. In his teenage years the family moved to Rochester, New Hampshire, where Chuck graduated from Spaulding High School in 1958.

Chuck married Carol Frost, of Beverly, Massachusetts in 1959. Chuck took over the family garage door installation business in the early 1960s at the same time as he and Carol were expanding their family with the birth of their four children, Charles, Charlene, Christopher, and Cynthia. The family moved to Lebanon, Maine in 1965.

Chuck served many terms as a selectman in Lebanon and on the vestry at The Church of the Redeemer and St. Michael's Anglican Church, both in Rochester. He was recognized as the Rochester Religious Leader of the Year in 2000. Chuck retired in 2008, after spending over 20 years in his second career as a plant engineer at Boston Felt in East Rochester and US Felt in Sanford.

Chuck is survived by Carol, wife of 54 years, his sister Patricia, his 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
