Colleen F. Carlsen

SOMERSWORTH - Colleen F. Carlsen, 53, of Somersworth, passed away on Friday, May 17th at Dover Center for Healthcare after a long battle with cancer.

Colleen was born in Rochester, on January 13, 1960 the daughter of Ronald and Frances (Thompson) Goddard. She was educated in Somersworth Schools, graduating from Somersworth High School class of 1978. Colleen had long been employed as an inventory specialist for the Timberland Co. and most recently as a secretary at Northeast Electrical Distributors for the past 11 years.

Colleen always lit up the room with her sense of humor. She will forever be remembered for her baking and treats, strong love for teddy bears and a steady heart for her family.

Colleen is preceded in death by her father, Ronald J. Goddard of Somersworth.

Colleen is survived by her Husband, John C. Carlsen of Somersworth. A son, Jerrame Goddard and Granddaughter Korah Canney-Goddard of Somersworth. Stepson Joshua Carlsen of Farmington, Her Mother, Frances Goddard of Somersworth. Her Sisters Carolanne Jaburek, Cindy Allard and Candace Merrill all of Somersworth. Nephew Nathaniel Martel, Niece Shannah Jaburek, Nephew Joshua Martel and Nephew Chase Jaburek. Mother-in-law Shirley Carlsen of Farmington, and sister-in-law Virginia Gray and husband Robert of Farmington. Cousins Roland Cyr and wife Janet of Berwick, Maine.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Barbara (Shea) Civiello, M.D. of the Seacoast Cancer Center for her compassion and support through all the years she worked with Colleen. Please accept our deepest and most heartfelt thank you.
