Collin Evans

BERWICK, Maine - Collin John Evans, 17, of Berwick, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 18, 2013, in Berwick. He was born at home in Berwick on October 16, 1995, a son of Andrew C. Evans and Valerie Lynn (Kolb). He was educated locally and was currently a Junior at Noble High School.

Collin loved sports of every kind, but especially football, basketball, 4-wheeling and snowboarding. He played on the football and basketball teams for Noble High School.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Sylvia Knight and Ansel Clarke Evans.

He is survived by his father, Andrew C. Evans of Berwick; his mother, Valerie Lynn Kolb of Berwick; three brothers, Austin Clarke Evans of Orono, ME, Christopher Charles Evans of Berwick, Chadley Paul Kolb of Jamaica Plain, Mass.; his maternal grandparents, Jeannine Kolb of Portsmouth, N.H., Paul Kolb of Florida and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was loved dearly by all.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 4 p.m., both at The Parish of the Ascension of the Lord/Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 160 Agamenticus Road, South Berwick. Burial will be private.
