Dennis M. Davis

SOMERSWORTH - Dennis M. Davis, 70, of Rocky Hill Road, died at home Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, after battling cancer, with his wife and children at his side.

Born in Biddeford, Maine, July 11, 1942, he grew up in Dover where he was a graduate of St. Mary School and Dover High School and was a longtime resident of Dover before moving here. He enjoyed camping and loved going to yard sales.

He was a 10-year employee of Miller Shoe and then worked for 32 years for Moore Business Forms before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Linda (Rocheleau) Davis, a son Dennis Davis, II and wife Maria and their son Benjamin all of East Boston, Mass; three daughters, Denise Johnson of Portland, Maine, Donna Rae Berry and husband Steven of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and their children Jessica, Erica and Bethany Rae; Debra Janetos and husband Mark of Rollinsford and their children Jason and Sara; a brother James Davis and a sister Linda Kleinschmidt of Indiana, and nieces and nephews. He loved his dogs, Beaucephies, Nicole and Jake.

He was predeceased by his parents, Merton and Margaret (Connors) Davis, and his birth mother, Sylvianne Kleinschmidt.

There are no calling hours. Friends are invited to a Celebration of his Life on Sunday, March 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Activities Room at Riverside Rest Home, 276 County Farm Road, Dover. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Dover.

Memorials in his name may be made to the Seacoast Cancer Center, 789 Central Ave., Dover, N. H. 03820.
