CENTER OSSIPEE - Dorothy L. (Jordan) Palmer, 80, of Moultonville Road, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Dottie was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Center Ossipee, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred (Safford) Jordan. Dottie had attended local schools and had lived in Center Ossipee for most of her life. She had worked for the Town of Ossipee as an administrative assistant for many years and later worked as a clerk with the Carroll County Probate in Ossipee, for 10 years. Dottie loved to garden and enjoyed many sports and competition, but most of all she loved her family. Dottie was the widow of the late Clarence "Tink" Palmer. She is survived by her loving family, Robert Palmer and his wife Denise, East Wakefield, Joan Couture and her husband Dave, Rochester, and Elaine Estabrook and her husband Brad, Rochester, as well as her grandchildren Jennifer Gelinas, Jake Palmer, Eric Couture, Alesia Palmer, Marrisa Lemelin and Alec Lemelin;, two step-grandchildren, Megan and Matt Estabrook, and her great-grandchildren, Lily Gelinas and Benjamin Gelinas arriving Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Arthur Jordan Jr., Harold Jordan, Harry Jordan, Kenneth Jordan and Ralph Jordan.
Calling hours will be Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Lord Funeral Home, 50 Moultonville Road, Center Ossipee, N.H. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. at Lord Funeral Home, Moultonville Road, Ctr. Ossipee, N.H. A spring burial will be in the Grant Hill Cemetery, Center Ossipee, N.H.
