Edward E. Libby

FLORIDA - Edward E. Libby passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Ed was born in Wolfeboro on August 8, 1942, to Arthur and Jacqueline and was raised and lived in Sanbornville for much of his life before moving to Florida.

He proudly served his country for four years in the Air Force. He was an accomplished cabinetmaker and a gifted carpenter who loved working with wood. He loved spending time with his family. His hobbies included gardening, reading, and music.

He is survived by his loving wife, Winnie, of almost 52 years and his four devoted daughters, Cheryl, Doreen, Denise, and Sharon. He leaves three grandsons, Nicholas, Logan and Chad, who cherished him, as did his two sons-in-law, Jeff and Michael. He is also survived by his two sisters, Rosalyn and Sharon, several nieces and nephews and close longtime friends, who knew and loved him dearly.

Ed was honorable and loving husband, father and grandfather, an admired and trusted brother and friend, and he will be greatly missed every day.

Donations may be made in his name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, Mass. 01202 or call 888-557-7177 to donate by phone.
