ROCHESTER - Elizabeth Ann Langevin, 88, of the Wentworth Home in Dover, died on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.

Betty was born on September 13, 1924 in Barrington, the daughter of Elmer and Ella (Howard) Olsen and lived most of her life in Rochester until moving to the Wentworth Home in 2011. She attended Rochester schools and was a 1942 graduate of Spaulding High School. She spent summers as a child at the summer home in Barrington. Betty was primarily employed in the Shoe industry in Rochester, Dover and Somersworth area and also employed at the Riverside Rest Home and retired from IMC Corporation in Rochester in 1985. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Rochester, a past member of the Emblem Club #40 and the Spaulding High School Alumni Association.

Surviving members of the family include: one daughter, Christine Carroll and her husband Paul of Massachusetts, one son, Jeffrey Langevin and his wife Kimberly of Barrington, N.H., five grandchildren, Mark Carroll and his wife Heidi, Julie Carroll and Amy Carroll all of Massachusetts, Lisa Langevin of California and Bree Beaudoin and her husband Jeffrey of York, Maine. She also leaves five great-grandchildren, Alex Carroll, Zachary Carroll, Cameron Carroll, Avie Beaudoin and Lincoln Beaudoin. She was predeceased by her husband, Aime W. (Jim) Langevin in 1986 and by her brother, Oscar Olsen in 1989.

A special thank you to the caring staff and concerned residents of the Wentworth Home who have given Betty excellent care and support during the past year.

Visiting hours will be held at the H.J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, N.H. on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 12, 2012, at St. Mary's Church, 71 Lowell Street, Rochester, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
