WEYMOUTH Mass.—Evelyn M. (Moutevelis) Tedeschi, 82 years of age, a Weymouth resident entered Life Eternal at the South Shore Hospital on Sept. 2, 2012.

She was born in Dover, and was a graduate of the Dover High School and the Vesper George School of Art in Boston, Mass. where she received her degree in art and interior design.
In earlier years, she had been employed by the New England Telephone Company at their Braintree office. She had also been a school crossing guard at the former Adams School in Weymouth. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Poulopoulos) Moutevelis.
Evelyn was the beloved wife and caregiver for her husband the late Bernard Peter Tedeschi who died in 1998.
She is predeceased by her beloved aunt Kanela Poulopoulos.
She is the devoted mother of Jason P. Tedeschi and his wife Adra of Weymouth, Mark P. and his wife Kimberly of Elkins, N.H. and Evan B. Tedeschi and his significant other Irene M. Gillen of Derry, N.H. She is the loving grandmother of Evan M. Tedeschi of Quincy, Mass., Kara Jichi of Plainville, Mass., Michael Tedeschi of Vancouver, British Columbia, Lindsay Tedeschi of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Anthony J. Tedeschi of Whitman, Mass. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Nathan Tedeschi, Kaila Jichi and Jadyn Jichi. She is survived by two sisters, Niki Moutevelis of Dover, and Polly Niblet of Centerville, Mass. She was the sister of the late Theani Allard of Dover.
Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck ¿ Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree, Mass. on Thursday, Sept. 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Friday, Sept 7 at 9:00 a.m. to be followed by a Funeral Liturgy at St. Catherine's Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree, Mass. at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Father Philippe Mousis will officiate. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, Mass.
