DURHAM - Frances Irene Adams Mooradian, age 83, passed away on Thurs., Nov. 29, 2012, at her residence with her family by her side. Frances was the wife of the late Andrew T. Mooradian, longtime art teacher and librarian at Oyster River Middle School.

Frances was born on May 4, 1929, in Boston, Mass.; the daughter of the late Lester and Helen (Clow) Adams.

Fran grew up in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and attended the University of New Hampshire where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority and graduated summa cum laude. Fran was an accomplished artist, a voracious reader. World traveler and lover of all animals. She enjoyed her book clubs, bridge clubs and playing croquet.

She is survived by her three children, Leslie of Chicago, Todd and his wife Paula of Williamsburg, Va, and Jody of Boston; her dear friend, Jill LaPoint of Boston; her beloved grandchildren Jake, Courtney, Caroline, Whitney, Addison and Andie, and special caretakers Bernadette Paradis, Michele Hogue, and Heather Budroe.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Durham Public Library www.durhampubliclibrary.org or the Stratham SPCA at www.nhspca.org.
