Isabelle Charolette Maria Bradshaw

ROLLINSFORD - Isabelle Charolette Maria Bradshaw, age 14 months, passed away Feb. 17, 2013, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to John and Chrissy Bradshaw at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, on Dec. 15, 2011. She was loved by her mom and dad, brother Preston, sister Julia, dog Lexus, and cats Barbie and Fi-Fi at their home in Rollinsford. In the short time that she was with us, Isabelle touched many lives. Her life saw her constantly in need of medical attention, but her spirit never faltered. No matter what she endured, she gave and received unconditional love. Against all odds for a child with Miller Dieker Syndrome, she would often smile and coo and try to kiss her family when they kissed her cheeks. She would light right up when brought outside and her eyes would often dart around the ceiling as she loved watching her Angels come to visit her. She was happiest in the loving arms of her family. Since before she was born, she would get excited when she heard her big brother and big sister.

She touched the lives of people around the country and beyond. She taught us all to make time to love one another. She taught us about courage and strength in the face of adversity. She taught us that life is fleeting; spend no time or energy on anything but love. If our actions reflect these lessons, her life will have had an immeasurable impact on humanity.

A celebration of Isabelle's life will be held at the Rollinsford, NH American Legion Post #47, 551 Foundry St., in Rollinsford, on Saturday, March 2, from 12-3 p.m. The structured portion of the services will begin at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of contributions in Isabelle's honor, the family requests that anyone so moved by her or her story write an informal and/or anonymous note about how Isabelle touched their lives. All these "contributions" can be mailed to John and Chrissy Bradshaw, 15 Stevens Ct., Rollinsford, N.H., 03869.
