KITTERY, Maine - Jeffrey Neville Box, 39, of Mill Pond Road in Kittery, died on Thursday November 22, 2012, at his home.
Born in Salem Mass., on September 16, 1973, Jeffrey was a son of Leonard F. Box Jr and Susan (Neville) Box. He attended Upton and Ayers Ryal Side elementary schools in Beverly, Mass. Jeff and his family moved to Kittery in 1985 where he began school at Frisbee Middle School and graduated RW Traip Academy with the class of 1992. During high school, he enjoyed his time managing many of the sports teams as well as wrestling and running track during his senior year.
In 1997, Jeff graduated Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He followed his Bachelor's degree with an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Hesser College and a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern Maine.
Jeff loved sports, supporting all the Boston professional teams and his college teams. He was also an avid gamer, Apple enthusiast, and enjoyed comic book collecting, even travelling to New York City earlier this year for Comic Con- New York. A conservative Republican, he always enjoyed a spirited discussion about politics. Jeff spent the last twelve years at Regal Cinemas in Newington, NH working in management.
He is survived by his loving family, mother Susan (Neville) Box of Kittery, his father Leonard F. Box Jr of Atlanta, Ga., his brother Leonard F. Box III and his wife Kathrine Racic of Natalia, Texas, niece Kayla Fimple and niece and nephew Kyle and Leah Glidden, as well as his many friends and coworkers.
Friends may visit with Jeff's family on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the JS Pelkey Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery,Maine 03904. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Boston Children's Hospital 300 Longwood Ave Boston MA 02115. Care for the Box family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey Funeral Home.
