ROLLINSFORD — John Melnot Robinson, 53, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012, due to heart failure.

Born October 27, 1958, in Dover he was the son of the late Edmund Robinson and survivor Loretta Robinson of Rollinsford.
John attended Dover High School and soon after joined the US Marine Corps. He was a man of many words. John, "Papa," enjoyed listening to music, playing pool, watching his favorite team "The Patriots" play and most importantly riding his Harley throughout the New England area. To those who knew John knew he had a big heart and would give the shirt off his back if another needed it. John was a loving father and an "old wise" Papa to his surviving children and grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his father Edmund Robinson of Rollinsford, N.H. and Sheila Broz of Florida.
He is survived by his daughter Amanda Milan & her husband Edyner Milan, Virginia Beach, Va.; his daughter Melinda Robinson, Chesapeake, Va.; grandchildren Mya and Nicholas Milan, & Natalie Pardue; his mother Loretta Robinson, Rollinsford; brothers Alan & wife Linda Gerro, of Waterville; Edmund & wife Natasha Robinson, Calif., James & wife Cathy Robinson, South Berwick, Maine, Bruce & wife Kathy Robinson, Rochester, Dale Robinson, Lebanon, Maine; sister, Sandra Putney, Somersworth; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements have been made under the care of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home.
