Malcolm Goode Obituary

SANFORD, Maine — Malcolm E. Goode, 56, of Sanford, Maine, died of natural causes at his home on May 8, 2010.

Mr. Goode was born in Portsmouth, N.H., on Nov. 8, 1953, to Kenneth and Eleanor (Jewett) Goode. He attended Rye schools and graduated from Portsmouth High School. He lived in Portsmouth for many years and later moved to Sanford.

Mr. Goode enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren, Zachariah, Cassy, Aiden, Jacob, Caitlyn and Regan. They brought him the most joy in his life.

Mr. Goode was a sports enthusiast and was one heck of a basketball player. Baseball was his favorite sport to watch. He also enjoyed watching basketball and football. He was a hardcore fan of all the Boston sports teams.

His favorite foods were hot dogs, eggs and ice cream. He was a man of many dreams and aspirations.

Mr. Goode will be remembered as a kind and loving father, son and brother and will be dearly missed by all of his friends and family.

Surviving are his father, Ken Goode; his daughter, Suzanne Sanders; his son, Jeff Goode; four brothers, Martin, Mike, Kenny and Mark Goode, and three sisters, Mila Woods, Martha Roy and Marlene Cummings.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home in Springvale.

Sorry it took me so long to say goodbye malcolm, i just can't find the words, your loving daughter gave me some of your things, i keep them with me allways , i wake at nite and have to touch your coat or look at your picture. I dont think i will ever admit you are gone ... you will allways be with me, enjoy eternity with mommy your friend and loving brother Martin

I'm so sad to hear of the loss of Malcolm. I know the last few years have been hard and his precious body is now at peace.
Always hard to say good bye, but remember all those cherrished memories and share the love of Malcolm with others.
