DOVER - Marcella L. (Cell) Dean, 91, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 13, 2012, at the Riverside Rest Home surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 1, 1921 in Washburn, Maine she was the daughter of Harvey Benjamin and Mary Alberta (Clark) Everett.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Dover Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was the widow of Glenn Dean who died in November 1988, who she married on Dec. 13, 1945.
She was predeceased by all of her siblings: Gladys Conley, Olive Everett, Clayton Everettt, Alden Everett, Manzer Everett, Story Everett, Hazel D'Amico, Theora Jenson, Ruth Milbury and Ina Jolin. She was also predeceased by her grandson, Glenn Joseph Landry in 2001.
Survivors include four sons and their spouses: the Rev. Gary and Sue Dean of Sri Lanka, Kevin and Heidi Dean of Kensington, Dale and Laurel Dean of Northwood, and Dennis and Colleen Dean of Dover; two daughters and spouses, Donna and James Zoller of Houghton, N.Y., and Laurie and David Landry of Dover. She also has 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
There will be visiting hours at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover, N.H. on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be at the Dover Baptist Church on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Monahan and the Rev. Robert Bennett presiding. Interment will be in the family plot at the Pine Hill Cemetery. To sign our online guest book, please go to www.purdyfuneralservice.com.
