Margaret Estey Obituary

STRAFFORD - Margaret Robertson Estey, of Strafford, N.H., formerly of Exeter, N.H., died Monday, October 23, 2017 in Concord, N.H., after a short illness. She was born January 8, 1937 in Amherst, N.Y., daughter of John O. Robertson and Agnes H. Robertson.

Marge was the youngest of three siblings, Agnes, Jack, and Helen. She grew up in Clarence, N.Y., a suburb of Buffalo and graduated from Clarence Central High School in 1955. She went onto graduate from The State University of New York College at Cortland in Physical Education.

She married Alan H. Estey on June 15, 1963, and in 1969 they moved to Exeter, N.H., where she was a devoted mother of her three children, Scott, Mark and Susan. In retirement, she moved to Bow Lake, Strafford, N.H., where she was active in many communities.

Marge is survived by her children Scott A. Estey, Mark A. Estey, daughter-in-law Amy Estey, daughter Susan E Miller, son-in-law Richard Miller and two granddaughters, Emma and Addison.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held in summer of 2018.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the following charities: Third Baptist Church, 30 Strafford Rd., Strafford, NH 03884; Christ Church, 43 Pine St., Exeter, NH 03833; or to the Concord Regional VNA, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301.
