KENNEBUNK, Maine— Natalie H. Ruest, 84, a resident of Kennebunk formerly of Swampscott, Mass. died Saturday August 25, 2012 at the Huntington Commons, Kennebunk after a brief illness.

She was born in Swampscott, Mass on August 20, 1928 a daughter of Norman and Dorothy (Honors) Edmunds and graduated from Swampscott High School class of 1945. She attended Junior College at Pine Manor in Mass.
She married to Joseph A Ruest Jr. and they moved to Kennebunk, Maine.
Nat was an homemaker for many years.
She was a member of the Webhannet Golf Club of Kennebunk Beach.
Nat loved to play golf, skiing, quilting, gardening and loved animals.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph A Ruest Jr. who died in 1998.
She is survived by her son Mark Ruest and his wife Janet of Strafford; two grandchildren, Roxana Ruest of Puyallup, Washington and Michael Ruest of Rochester; and a great grandson, Noah of Puyallup, Washington. She also survived by her cousins Richard and Sandra Sullivan and their children all of Swampscott, Mass.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday August 29th, 2012 at the Bibber Memorial Chapel 67 Summer Street Kennebunk, Maine following by a Graveside Service at 1 p.m. at the Swampscott Cemetery, Essex Street Swampscott, Mass.
Should friends desire, a memorial donation may be made to the Safe Haven Humane Society P.O. Box 91 Wells, Maine 04090 in Mrs. Ruest's memory.
