SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Patricia M. Schoff, 74, of 23 Pine St. died peacefully Friday May 3, 2013 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.
Patricia was born August 17, 1938 in Derbyshire, England the daughter of George C. and Nora (Doherty) Scott.
She worked very hard for many years as a custodian for Marshwood High School in South Berwick, Maine touching many of the students and faculties hearts, prompting them to dedicate the 2003 yearbook to her. She was the true meaning of a mother and wife always putting her children and husband first, loving them with all her heart, being a best friend to them and living her entire life for them often times going without in order for her children have what they needed or wanted. She was considered to be the mother of many people outside of her own family because of her huge heart and loving personality. She liked to play bingo and go to penny sales with her dear friend Paula Schoff.
She was a devoted friend, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will always be remembered for her great sense of humor and candor.
She was predeceased by her husband Wayne "Chicky" Maurice Schoff, her parents, three children Wayne M. (Hiram) Schoff Jr., Allen P. Lambert, Wendy M. Schoff, and a brother Kevin C. Scott.
Patricia is survived by five children Peter K. Lambert and his wife Laurie of Rollinsford, Ricky S. Schoff and AnnMarie Sacca of South Berwick, Maine, Kevin C. Schoff and Alicia Angel of South Berwick, Maine, Brian S. Schoff and his wife Lanette of South Berwick, Maine, Linda J. Gray and her husband Alex of South Berwick, Maine, Maria A. McCabe and her husband Norman of Fla., many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday May 17, 2013 at Spring Hill, 117 Pond Rd South Berwick, Maine from 4-7 p.m.
