STRAFFORD - Paula M. (Flayhan) McCallion, 54, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, ending a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Paula was born in Sanford, Maine, on March 26, 1964. She was a graduate of Sanford High School and alum of Franklin Pierce University.

She was employed as a revenue agent at the Internal Revenue Service, for 32 years, until her recent retirement, earlier this year.

Twenty-five years ago, Paula married the love of her life, Donald McCallion Jr., and together they raised two wonderful children, Donald III and Chelsea. Paula's passion in life was her family. She enjoyed trips to Gunstock Mountain, where she camped every weekend with her family. She loved traveling with her family and spending time outdoors, including motorcycle and snowmobile rides with her husband. She loved attending her children's sporting events; hockey, soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, where she was their number one fan.

She is predeceased by her parents, Al and Jeanne (Desrochers) Flayhan of Sanford, Maine.

In addition to her immediate family, Don, Donald and Chelsea, she is survived by her sister, Laurie Melanson and husband Mark, her brother Michael Flayhan and wife Arline, all of Sandford, Maine, her brother Tony Flayhan, and wife Missy, of Springvale, Maine, as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
