Pauline Hellen Rendell

BERWICK, Maine - Pauline Hellen Rendell, 80 years, of Applegate Village, died Feb. 21, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, surrounded by her loving family.

Pauline was born May 18, 1932, in Dover, a daughter of Clarence and Hazel (Hoyt) Pineo, Sr. She graduated from Dover High School and worked in several of the local shoe shops before making a career at Janco Electronics in Rollinsford.

Pauline loved family get-togethers and was proud to be the matriarch of five generations. She enjoyed attending outdoor band concerts in the summer and could be found surrounded by her friends and family in her lawn chair at these events.

Pauline was predeceased by her parents; her daughter-in-law, Helene; and her brother, Clarence Burton Pineo, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Lillas Steadman and her husband, Wayne; her sons, Larry E. Rendell, Lynn K. Rendell and his wife, Debra, and Lorne Rendell; her sister, Clarine Spencer and her husband, Barry; her nine grandchildren, Gretchen, Maureen, Larry, Nicole, Brian, Laura, Lindsey, Lenny and Elise; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Laing-Bibber Funeral Chapel, 36 Rochester St., Berwick. A memorial service will follow at noon at the chapel with Deacon Roger Normand.
