Rhenda M. Rheaume

DOVER - Rhenda M. Rheaume, 82, of 15 Horne St., died at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013.

Born July 25, 1930, in Somersworth, the daughter of Arthur and Odelie (Fortier) Porelle.

Rhenda was a busy homemaker opening her home and setting additional places at the dinner table on a moments notice for family and friends alike. Her greatest love on this Earth was the family and extended family that surrounded her. She was married to Albert P.J. Rheaume on Sept. 25, 1946, and together they raised five children. She spent many years following her children's sports and activities and in later years she enjoyed following her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her final years these were the moments of her greatest joy.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.

She is survived by her son, Glen D. Rheaume and his wife Claire of Somersworth; daughters, Donna Tetreault and her husband Thomas of Dover, Sharon A. Morse of Somersworth and Tammy M. McGlone and her husband Robert of Dover; daughter-in-law, Claire Rheaume of Rochester; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Porelle; three sisters, Lorraine LeBel, Rosemarie Merrill and Elizabeth Fish; and several nieces and nephews.

Rhenda is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Albert P.J. Rheaume; a son, Robert Rheaume; a son-in-law, Asa Morse III and a brother Raymond Porelle.

All friends and family are welcomed to join the family for calling hours on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, from 10-11 a.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave Dover, N.H. A service will follow at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the spring at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
