Rosemary Allen

ROCHESTER - Rosemary M. (Marshall) Allen of 125 Wakefield Street passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 6, 1936, in Omaha, NE, she was the eldest daughter of Richard K. and Anise H. (Sampson) Marshall. Predeceased by her brother Richard K. Marshall, Jr.

Rosie worked as an R.N. and later as a Flight Attendant for TWA where she met her husband Red. Rosie and Red enjoyed living and raising their family in Rochester for 49 years. Her hobbies were bowling at the Bowl-A-Way lanes, reading, knitting, crocheting, and above all else caring for her family. Rosie was a loving, caring wife, mother and most of all an all around good person.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years Leroy "Red" Allen, son Roger "Tripp" Allen and his wife Jennifer. Daughters; Margaret "Peggy" (Allen) Twombley and Mary Beth (Allen) Masse, all of Rochester, NH. Grandchildren; Shane and Chase Merrihew, Heather Twombley, Ethan Masse, Kevin Johonnett and Rachele Ferrandi. Sister Elizabeth (Mrs. William) Post of Omaha, NE, Sisters in-law Sharon (Mrs. Richard) (Bradley) Marshall of Goleta, CA, Sybil (Mrs. Francis)(Allen) Daly of Sanbornton, NH. Along with several nieces and nephews.

At Rosemary's request, there will be no services.

Cremation is under the care of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH 03867.
