SANBORNVILLE - Ruth Blanche (Golden) Moody, 81, of Wakefield, N.H., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Rochester, N.H., surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 27, 1925, at home in Barnstead, N.H., the daughter of the late John and Blanche Golden,
Ruth attended Barnstead schools. Ruth was married to Theodore Moody on June 22, 1943, and lived most of her married life in Milton, N.H. After the death of her husband in 1972, she moved to Sanbornville, N.H., where she met her "best friend" Norman E. Brooks, Sr. They were together for many years until his passing in 2005.
Ruth was predeceased by several sisters and brothers and a granddaughter, Karina Twombley.
She is survived by her 13 children, PeggyAnn Richards and her husband Doug, Rochester, N.H.; Katheleen Twombley, Brookfield, N.H.; Terry Moody and his wife Sue, Lebanon, Maine; Colleen Moody and Bob, Sanbornville, N.H.; Tim Moody and his wife Cheryl, Farmington, N.H.; Linda Moody, North Carolina; Mike Moody, Melbourne, Fla.; Jamie Moody and Marianne, Kennebunk, Maine; Kim O'Connor and her husband Jerry, Sanbornville, N.H.; Tammi Rogers and her husband Charlie, Wolfeboro, N.H.; Chris Patch and her husband Glenn, Middleton, N.H.; Danny Moody, Sanbornville, N.H.; and Erin Ryder and Scott, Ossipee, N.H.; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, N.H. Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 26, at 1 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lovell Lake Cemetery, Sanbornville, N.H., immediately following the service.
