EPSOM — Sandra Bennett (Carswell) MacCallum, 76, of Epsom, passed peacefully Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 25, 1936 in Dover, N.H.; the daughter of Irene Bennett and William Carswell. She graduated from Dover High School and Concord School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She also worked side by side with her husband at their family business, MacCallums Boathouse on Northwood Lake. She is survived by her two sons, Peter MacCallum and Stephen MacCallum and his wife, Erin; six beautiful grandchildren, Samantha, Abigail, Donald, Ellie, Maeve and Flynn; a brother, three sisters, many nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Donald A. MacCallum and her sister. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Concord Regional VNA, c/o Hospice House, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, N.H. 03301.Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thurs., Oct.25, 2012 at Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Road, Rt. 4, Lee, NH. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Fri., Oct. 26, 2012 at Northwood Congregational Church, 881 First N.H. Turnpike, Northwood, N.H. with Rev. Gayle Murphy, officiating. Graveside services will be held at East Northwood Cemetery, Northwood, N.H.
