DEERFIELD - Arthur "Ted" H. Cutter III, DVM, 70, died unexpectedly March 25, 2014 at his home in Deerfield.
He was born July 5, 1943 in Winchester, Massachusetts., son of the late Arthur H. Cutter Jr. and Jane (Albro) Kleinfelder. Ted grew up in Rochester and Lancaster, and was a graduate from Spaulding High School in Rochester. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of New Hampshire and in 1969, he earned his doctorate in veterinarian medicine from Cornell University. Ted owned and operated his own practice and worked throughout the State of New Hampshire for the last 40+ years. In his free time, Ted enjoyed splitting wood. He would often travel to western USA to deer and elk hunt. Ted liked doing projects around his yard with his excavator and operating heavy equipment. He was predeceased by his son, Steven Cutter, who died in 1999. Ted is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Wendy Cutter-Collins and Timothy Collins of Greenland, 3 grandchildren, David Cutter, Tanner Collins and Haley Collins all of Greenland, a brother, Allen Cutter of Portland, Oregon., and his long time family friend, Ann Crowley of Pittsfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond, NH. There is no funeral service scheduled.
