Jacquelyn Douglass

MILTON - Jacquelyn Douglass, 84, of 96 St. James Avenue died Sunday, Mother's Day, May 11, 2014, at her home after a period of failing health.

She was born in Boston, Mass. the daughter of the late Arthur and Irene (Knowlton) Dupont.

She worked for many years as a sales clerk for Sears. Mrs. Douglass was a member of the Community Church of Milton.

Members of her family include her husband of 64 years, Sherman N. Douglass, daughter, Deborah Horton, both of Milton; granddaughters, Monique Griffin and her husband Ryan of Amesbury, Mass., Noelle Horton of Lynn, Mass. and her fiance John McCusker; great granddaughters, Summer and Skylar Griffin of Amesbury, Mass.; son-in-law Edward W. Horton of Winthrop, Mass.

There will be no calling hours.

Private burial services will be held at a later date at MT Pleasant Cemetery, E. Gloucester, Mass. officiated by Pastor Betsy Webber of the Community Church of Milton, N.H.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cornerstone VNA and Hospice, 178 Farmington Road, Rochester N.H. 03867.
