NORTH BERWICK, Maine - Paul David Voisine 43, caring and big hearted family man, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in North Berwick. He will be sorely missed and forever loved by his family and friends and all those whose lives he has touched.
He was born in Portsmouth, N.H., on June 20, 1971, the son of Renald David Voisine and Susan Jane Freeman. He attended Marshwood schools in South Berwick/Eliot before serving his country in the United States Army.
Paul was an avid collector of both knives and skulls. He also enjoyed bike riding. Mostly, he had a great enthusiasm for learning everything he could about various things. He would read books and study subjects and watch the Discovery Channel for hours, soaking up all the information and gaining an amazing amount of knowledge. Paul also had a great admiration for his brother, Frank.
Paul was predeceased by his father, Renald Voisine, in 1992. Surviving are his wife, Sonia (Morgan) Voisine of North Berwick, his mother Susan Freeman and son, Michael Voisine of Rochester, N.H.; three daughters, Ashley Voisine, Briana Owens and Morgan Voisine, all of Berwick, Maine; brother Frank Voisine and his wife Tracey of Milton, N.H.; his stepchildren, Jeremy Hewitt, Kayla Freberg and Cheyenne Freberg; a grandson, Mason Wattles; niece and nephew Lily and Logan Voisine.
An hour of visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. immediately followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market St., North Berwick, ME 03906.
