WAYNESBORO, Pa - Lucille Dupont Bergeron, 94, of Quincy Village Senior Living Center, Waynesboro, Pa. passed away on July 14, 2014, after a brief period of declining health. Waiting patiently for her heavenly arrival will be the love of her life " I. B. " . Born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1919, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Elzear Dupont and Lucy (Marchand) Dupont. Residing most of her life in Rochester and Somersworth, Lucille also truly enjoyed spending the summers at Milton Three Ponds - "up to camp". An avid golfer, other interests included swimming, knitting, reading and her not to be missed Bingo nights. A beautiful smile greeted everyone who had the blessing to meet her. Not so very long ago, a local Rochester business man and former classmate told her she always had the prettiest eyes in town.
Showering her family and friends with love, respect and bountiful meals, Lucille will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by two children a son, Emile (Linda) Bergeron, Fayeteville, Pa. and daughter Denise (Larry) Drew, Zephyrhills, Fla., Six grandchildren, John (Lorelle) Bergeron, Jennifer Bergeron and Kristen (Justin) Kerchner. Wendy (William) Poteat, Michelle (James) Lajoie and Lt. Justin (Sofia) Drew. Seven great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her late husband Dr. Isidore E Bergeron and one brother Lt. Col. Leo E. Dupont.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery on Brock Street, Rochester, N.H. Arrangements are in the care of the H. J.
