DOVER — Alicia M. Sullivan, 99, formerly of Sixth Street, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at St. Ann Healthcare Center.

She was born July 19, 1911, in Somersworth, the daughter of Daniel and Melanie (Wimpfheimer) Sullivan graduated from Somersworth High School and had lived in this area all of her life.
During World War II, she was at Camp Edwards, Cape Cod, Mass.
Alicia had worked for New England Telephone and Telegraph for more than 40 years until her retirement in 1975. During this time she was an operator, a supervisor and also an instructor in the traffic department. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Alicia was predeceased by her three sisters, Doris Sullivan, Ruth Sullivan and Melanie Sullivan and is survived by close friends.
Friends may call Saturday, Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Ann Healthcare Center, 195 Dover Point Road. followed by a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Rev. Donald McAllister, Chaplain. Burial will be in the family lot in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Somersworth.
