NEW DURHAM — Leo W. Jacques, 59, of 27 Jenkins Road died Saturday, May 5, 2012 after a period of failing health at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 17, 1952 in Manchester. He was the son of Norman and Rosa Pauline (Jacques) Pelletier.

Leo graduated from Dover High School and worked for many years at Collins and Aikman in Farmington and at the Mobil Station on N. Main Street in Rochester. Leo loved Deep Sea and freshwater fishing, NASCAR, NHRA Drag Racing, and watching the New England Patriots. He enjoyed going to all the 4-H fairs, where his granddaughter Emily showed sheep. He was a jolly and very caring person, who lend a hand to anybody who asked. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his mother, Rosa Pauline Pelletier of Rochester; his two children, Billie Jo of Haverhill, Mass. and Normand of Northfield; his two step children, Jessica and Jonathan Hodgdon of Farmington; his grandchildren, Emily Morin and Breck Hodgdon of Farmington, Brian, Jesse, Natisha, Devon, and Bowen of Mass.; his fishing buddy, Jason Aniki of Farmington; he also leaves his companion of 24 years, Roxanne D. Hodgdon; and his beloved cat T.J., who meant the world to him.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; and many uncles.

There will be no services per Leo's request. However, there will be a celebration of Leo's life, Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Farmington Fire Station, 381 Main Street, Farmington. Family and friends are all welcomed to attend.
