YORK, Maine — Mrs. Patricia A. (Piche) Keen, of York, wife of Everett R. Keen, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at the Durgin Pine Nursing Home in Kittery.

She was born in Portsmouth, N.H., on Dec. 29, 1936, the daughter of the late Daniel E. and Oraville M. (Grant) Piche.
Pat was a graduate of R.W. Traip Academy, Class of 1954. Along with her husband, she was the owner of Keen's TV during the 70s and 80s.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Portsmouth. Throughout the Bicentennial years, Pat, along with her family and friends, participated in reenactments and musters with the 1st York and New Market Militias. She was a superb seamstress and made many period costumes that were later loaned to local historical societies and organizations.
Pat loved cooking, gardening, golf and collecting. She was a very unselfish woman who loved her family.
Besides her husband of 55 years, survivors include two children, Kenneth Keen of York, and Tami Colburn and her husband Jeff of Thorndike, Maine; two grandchildren, Christopher Keen and Kelli Keen both of York; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; brother, Rear Admiral Gordon G. Piche, Ret., USCG and his wife R. Jane Grady of Annapolis, Md.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the Orchard Grove Cemetery, in Kittery, Maine. There will be no visiting hours.
